The renovation project of the iconic AGIP service station designed by architect Mario Bacciocchi in the 1950s was developed by Architect Michele De Lucchi for the businessman Lapo Elkann and chef Carlo Cracco. The building is characterised by a highly plastic round front, cantilevered shelters and details recalling the curves of the main volume and hosted a service station until the 1980s. Even though the building was in good condition the project required a careful intervention due to the distinctive and iconic design. On the ground floor is located the Garage Italian Customs’ car customisation workshop, on the first floor a restaurant of the chef Carlo Cracco.
